Cellulite

Cellulite is known as orange-peel skin and is referring to the formation of lumps and dimples in the skin.  It is common and harmless. Although is more common in females due to the distribution of fat, muscle, and connective tissues, it can affect both females and males.  Possible factors causing cellulite formation including but are not limited to hormonal factors, age, genetic factors, dietary and/or lifestyle factors.  It is very common but some clients may be disturbed by its appearance.  There are several different approaches to help to minimize cellulite, some might be temporary and some might have longer effects.

Different technologies can be used to treat or improve Cellulite:

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology to treat fatty tissue beneath the skin without harming the skin or surrounding tissue.  The body then naturally processes and removes the destroyed tissues through the lymphatic system.

Acoustic Wave technology produces a rapid increase in blood circulation to the target area which helps to transport unwanted fat out through the lymphatic system.  Shockwave technology also stimulates collagen production and encourages new cell growth.

Radiofrequency technology for safely heat up and cause programmed cell death of fat cells.  Death cells are filtered naturally through the body by the lymphatic system.

A new non-invasive treatment combining both Thermal Monopolar Radiofrequency and Mechanical Targeted Pressure Energy aim to eliminate the cause of cellulite and loose skin. The Radiofrequency target fat layers and chambers in soft cellulite, whilst the targeted pressure wave is applied to break down the hardened collagen fibers.  And together they promote blood flow and lymphatic drainage.

Follow up with a diet with less fat and sugar, higher fibers plus a lifestyle with regular exercises are always suggested to help to reduce the development of cellulite.
