This Statement is, except where separate and distinctive statements are provided, applicable to the Medicskin Holdings Limited’s group of companies (the “Group”).  Accordingly, references to “we”, “us”, or “our company” shall mean, as the case may be, the relevant company within the Group.

We respect your legal rights of privacy when collecting, storing, using and transmitting personal data and this Personal Information Collection Statement explains our privacy practices.  Please read the following carefully to understand our policy and practices regarding how your personal data will be treated. This policy may from time to time be revised. If there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of this Privacy Policy Statement, the English version shall prevail.  “Personal Data” means any personally identifying information or sensitive data (such as names, occupations, addresses, contact details, ID Card or Passport numbers, credit card information, your age) from which it is practicable for the identity of an individual to be ascertained.

Purposes for which we will collect and use your Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected when you receive medical consultation, make a purchase of skincare products, receive skin care treatment services, participate in promotional activities or apply to be a member of any of the brands operated by any member of our Group from time to time.

Certain personal data is required to be provided on an obligatory basis if you wish to receive certain services from us. These data will be marked as“mandatory/fields must be filled” in the Registration Form and you MUST provide your personal data to us if you want us to provide the service for which you are applying. If personal data is only required on a voluntary basis, it will be marked as “optional” and it is entirely up to you to decide whether you want to provide such information to us or not.

Your supply of personal data is mandatory if you wish to receive one or more of the following services: 1) Matters in relation to the supply of products or services to you; 2)The daily operation of the services and products provided and supplied to you; 3)For payment purposes in relation to the products, services supplied or to be supplied; 4) responding to your inquiries or complaints in accordance with your instructions; 5) to contact you through email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp and other online social media/platforms; 6) to improve our Services 7) any other incidental or associated purposes relating to the above purposes ;

Purposes for which it is optional for you to provide your personal data are: 1) for recommending suitable products and services to you; 2) for internal research and analysis to enable us to provide services and product information or offerings better tailored to your needs; 3) to enable our staff to follow up; 4) to distribute customer satisfaction survey 5) to send out newsletters and other program updates;

Direct Marketing

We intend to use your personal information collected by us for marketing and promotion of any products, services, facilities offered or provided by any member of our Group or which we consider you may have interested in. We may not so use your personal information unless we have received your consent (or your indication of no objection) to the intended use. You have the right to request access to, and correction of, information about you held by us. Types of Personal Data collected

You may need to provide your personal data from time to time, including but not limited to your name, gender, age, identity card number, date of birth, phone number, facsimile number, address, email address, credit card details, education level, occupation, household income, hobbies or preferred activities. Failure to provide such data and/or provision of incomplete or inaccurate data may prevent us from providing certain services to you. If you are under 18, you must obtain consent from parents or guardians before disclosing any of your personal data to us.

Retention of Data

In your dealings with us, we retain records of your online transactions for auditing purposes.  Our general policy is to retain the information for a reasonable period

Amendment(s)

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If we amend this Privacy Policy to permit material changes in the way we collect, use and/or share your personally identifiable information, we will notify you of such changes by sending you an email at the last email address that you provided to us, and/or by prominently posting notice of such changes on our Website at https://www.medicskin.com. Any such material changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective thirty (30) calendar days following either our dispatch of an email notice to you or our posting of notice of the changes on our Website. Any material changes to this Privacy Policy may affect our use and sharing of personally identifiable information that we collected before our notification to you of the said changes. The terms of this Privacy Policy are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of HKSAR.

Personal Information Collection Statement

As a customer of our Group, it may be necessary for you to provide us with your personal data when you apply to us for any service and/or product. If your personal data is incomplete or incorrect, we may not be able to provide or continue to provide the services to you. We shall keep your personal data confidential at all times. Our policies and practices with respect to the collection, use, retention, disclosure, transfer, security and access of personal data will be in accordance with requirements under the Ordinance and this Statement

We may use and retain the personal data provided by you for the following purposes and for other purposes as shall be agreed between you and us or required by law from time to time:

In the event that we purchase a business, the personally identifiable information received with that business would be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy, if it is practicable and permissible to do so. In the event that we sell a business, we will include provisions in the selling contract requiring the purchaser to treat your personally identifiable information in the same manner required by this Privacy Policy (including any amendments to this Privacy Policy). In light of this protection, your opt-out choices stated in this Privacy Policy shall not affect our right to transfer your personally identifiable information to a purchaser in these circumstances.

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to:

  • require the Company to correct the incorrect personal information.

Under the Ordinance, the Company reserves the right to charge a reasonable charge for access to personal data processing.
